James Walter Snyder served in the Coast Guard for 21 years, from 1969 to 1991. He retired on March 31st, 1991 as a Chief Damage Controlman. He is being honored by his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Michael Williams of Chesapeake, VA. Thank you for your service dad!

Mr. Lauren P. Bands, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024. Born on January 30, 1935 in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Konucik Bands. After retirement, he would go on to a career with Richmond Gravure International Paper Company in Richmond, VA, and was a former Commander of the American Legion, Post 284 in Colonial Heights, VA.
