Mr. Lauren P. Bands, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024. Born on January 30, 1935 in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Konucik Bands. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Lauren served in both the Korean War and in Vietnam, earning multiple medals. After retirement, he w
Mr. Lauren P. Bands, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024. Born on January 30, 1935 in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Konucik Bands. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Lauren served in both the Korean War and in Vietnam, earning multiple medals. After retirement, he would go on to a career with Richmond Gravure International Paper Company in Richmond, VA, and was a former Commander of the American Legion, Post 284 in Colonial Heights, VA.
