Tidewater Winds works to pay staff, crew, and musicians on the 15th and 30th of the month. For contracted programming, payments should be made on a bimonthly schedule. For concerns, please contact the Personnel Director.
We request all musicians, contractors, and employees utilize our automatic deposit system to expedite payments.
When in doubt, musicians should first contact the Personnel Manager with any questions. personnel@tidewaterwinds.org
Unless otherwise stated, indoor concerts for musicians are formal concert black attire and outdoor attire is khaki pants or shorts, TW White Polo shirt, and white tennis shoes. Please avoid wearing perfumes and colognes or other strongly fragranced body washes. Please do wear deodorant.
In general, musicians' concert arrival is 30 minutes prior to the concert. Rehearsals start promptly as scheduled so please allow yourself time to arrive, unpack, and get settled before announcements.
Crew Summer attire>
Outdoors: White polo, Khaki shorts or pants, white tennis shoes
Indoors: White polo, Black shorts or pants, white tennis or black shoes

Academy of Music Partnership
The Band Together program is designed to support disabled children in learning instruments.
Our work will be to support and encourage their growth with gentle direction and guidance.
(Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion)
Notes for Rehearsals with Students
Location: Norfolk Christian Upper School, 255 Thole Street, Norfolk
Musicians should drive around the back of the school (around the football field).
The band room entrance is on Filbert Street.
Students have several diverse disabilities so encouragement and support are required.
